Ah! Summers at last! It is going to be so beautiful and breezy, flowers in full bloom, and time to hit those beaches! If you are new here, read all about me here.
I don’t know about you but summers are my favourite because I like my days sunny and bright. Also because I finally get to have some outdoor fun and flaunt those summer dresses. And while I have fun in the summer, my skin has to take a lot of brunt. I have learnt some cool tricks throughout the years that has saved my skin and hair and I think this is the perfect time to share it with you guys!!
Spray your face every once in a while
When you are out and about in the Sun, your face loses a lot of moisture through sweat. Though drinking water is an obvious thing, spraying your face with mists or rosewater can instantly cool down your skin, keep acne at bay and keep your makeup in place. Facial mists are popular in Japanese and Korean skincare and you know how youthful and plump their skin looks. Here are some of my most favourite facial mists.

Never forget your sunscreen
Sunscreen is the most important step in your skincare routine and that is not just for the summers. Even if you want to get tan, never forget your sunscreen as it keeps you safe from skin cancers and other skin diseases. If you are going to be in the Sun all day, please use two tablespoons worth of sunscreen as recommended by the dermatologists.

Hydrate yourself
This is a no brainer that you have to drink plenty of water but you may not know that when you are out in the Sun, you don’t just need water but also electrolytes that has drained from your body. Adding cucumbers, lemons and salts can help replenishing the lost electrolytes from your body. Drinking coconut water is a another great and tasty drink to have during summers as it is naturally loaded with electrolytes.

Carry a compact powder foundation always
If you are going to be wearing makeup, you are going to get oily in your T-zone, making your face shiny. Applying a compact foundation every 2-3 hours on the problem should keep your makeup looking fresh the entire day. If you are looking for a good compact foundation, here are some of my favourites.
